What distinguishes the festival this year is the participation of silk manufacturers in the festival, where Muhammad Abbas from Masyaf – Deir Mama explained that his town is the only one that still maintains silkworm breeding and the production of silk thread and textiles despite all the difficulties, stressing that participation is to introduce silk products to the rising generations and restore the brilliance of this industry To which the Ministry of Agriculture has given great attention, noting that silk prices in Syria are lower than they are in other countries.
