The CBS data shows that apartment prices rose by an additional 1.2% last month, thus completing the highest jump in a decade. The sharpest increases - in the center and south, in Jerusalem, prices fell. Rent prices are also climbing. Apartment prices rose last month by 1.2% - this is according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics today (Thursday).

In doing so, they completed an increase of 20.3% within a year.

This is the highest annual price increase in a decade.



The most significant increase was recorded in the central region, where prices increased from last month by 1.9%, and then in the south with an increase of 1.6%.

An increase of 1.2% was recorded in the horn.

An increase of 1.1% was recorded in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and a decrease of 0.1% was recorded in Jerusalem.



Compared to the corresponding period last year, September-October 2022, compared to September-October 2021, price increases were recorded in all districts: in the center by 22.5%, in the north by 22.5%, in Tel Aviv by 19.9%, in Haifa by 19.9%, in the south by -18.7% and in Jerusalem by 16.6%.

In November 2022, the consumer price index increased by 0.1%, while since the beginning of the year the consumer price index increased by 5.0% and in the last twelve months (November 2022 compared to November 2021) it increased by 5.3%.



The most notable price increases were recorded in housing which increased by 0.6%, apartment maintenance which increased by 0.3% and food which increased by 0.2%.



Notable price decreases were recorded in the sections: fresh vegetables and fruits which decreased by 4.3%, footwear which decreased by 1.5% and furniture and home equipment which decreased by 0.3%.
