District – After the fatal accident on Wednesday afternoon on the B 471 (we reported), the police and fire brigades had to move out to several accidents in the district due to the road and weather conditions.

Tree falls on B 471

Three people were seriously injured when a tree fell on the B 471 around 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

Around 6:45 p.m., a 28-year-old from the Freising district was driving a Renault and a 50-year-old from the Fürstenfeldbruck district with a BMW on the B 471, in Karlsfeld in the area of ​​the local quarry ponds at Obergrashof.

The tree standing on the side of the road fell on the road for reasons that have not yet been clarified, hitting the Renault and the BMW, the Dachau police said.

The driver of the BMW had to be rescued from her car by the fire brigade with heavy equipment.

She and her 46-year-old passenger, who also comes from the Fürstenfeldbruck district, and the Renault driver were seriously injured and taken to nearby clinics by emergency services for further treatment.

The cars suffered total damage of 20,000 euros.

The road had to be completely closed at times to allow the vehicles to be recovered.

The Karlsfeld and Dachau fire brigades were in action.

On the road with summer tires

A 43-year-old man from Cologne was on the road at around 9:20 p.m. on Wednesday with summer tires on slippery roads.

He drove his Daimler along the main road in Sulzemoos, coming from Wiedenzhausen in the direction of the A8.

In a curve, he got into oncoming traffic due to the snow and his inadequate vehicle equipment and collided head-on with a BMW that was being driven by a 54-year-old from the Dachau district.

Both people were unharmed.

Total property damage to the Daimler and the BMW was around 35,000 euros.

The two vehicles were towed.

Get into oncoming traffic

A 30-year-old from the Dachau district got into oncoming traffic on Wednesday evening with his Opel on the state road 2047 between Unterzeitlbach and Kleinberghofen due to ice in a curve and touched the Nissan of a 55-year-old there.

It went off the road and stopped in the ditch.

A 20-year-old was driving behind the Nissan in his Opel, who could no longer avoid it and also collided with the 30-year-old's Opel.

No people were injured.

According to the police, the three vehicles suffered damage totaling 16,000 euros. 

Crashed into tree

In Bergkirchen on Wednesday around 4.50 p.m., a 19-year-old from Dachau crashed his Ford into a tree.

He was on his way from Günding towards Unterbachern.

In the wooded area, he lost control of his vehicle because he did not adjust his speed to the slippery winter road and collided with a tree.

The driver was not injured.

His passenger, a 15-year-old from the Dachau district, suffered minor injuries that had to be treated in a hospital.

THW Dachau and Oberbachern fire brigade were in action, among other things, to fell the tree.

Truck overturns on A8

The THW and many fire brigades from the district had to move out to an accident on the highway on Thursday night.

Around 4 a.m. on the A 8, just behind the Odelzhausen junction, a truck and train slid on the slippery winter road and overturned.

The trailer loaded with various goods and groceries blocked the highway.

The road was completely closed.

Before the truck could be recovered, the load had to be unloaded by hand.

The operation lasted several hours.
