A Eurasburger did not want to accept the judgment of the district court in Wolfratshausen.

Now the district court of Munich decided.

Eurasburg/Munich – A Eurasburger was sentenced to a fine of 1,800 euros and a one-month driving ban by the Wolfratshausen District Court in late summer for approving criminal offenses (we reported).

On Wednesday, the appeal he had filed was to be heard before the Munich district court.

However, the 45-year-old did not appear for this appointment.

"Z" sign on the car: district court confirms judgment against Eurasburger

Shortly after Russian troops invaded Ukraine, the native Kazakh stuck a “Z” measuring about 20 by 20 centimeters on the tailgate of his car.

The "Z" is one of several marks on military vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces involved in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

In contemporary Russian culture, the "Z" is used as a symbol of support and state propaganda for the war of aggression against the neighboring country.

He rode it around for two weeks.

When asked by his boss's Ukrainian wife to remove the sign, he did not respond.

The 45-year-old admitted all of this in the hearing at first instance.

For him, the "Z" means "for peace," he defended himself.

"Otherwise it would be called Poli_ei or Justi_", he added.

The judgment of the District Court of Wolfratshausen is now final

The District Court declined to agree.

The decisive factor is not what the accused associates with the letter, but "what a neutral observer feels about it," District Judge Helmut Berger said.

And a neutral observer understands the "Z" as "glorification of war".

The district court dismissed the appeal "without a hearing on the matter, subject to a fee," explained the presiding judge when the accused was not there after the call.

The judgment of the court of first instance is therefore final.
