“They are very friendly and above all very talented.
“It is a long time ago when Pascal Praud complimented “Daily”.
For several months, the CNews journalist and
Yann Barthès
have been waging a war by interposed channel.
The latest spade dates back to this week.
It all started (again) when the TMC show ranked the
“five most stupid thoughts”
heard last weekend on the continuous news channel.
A sequence during which the 48-year-old host said
“Shut up”
, an insult intended for Ivan Rioufol.

The next day,
Pascal Praud
wanted to challenge the leaders of TF1.
"Yann Barthès' show, every night, pounded CNews and they made montages that put people in danger, people like Charlotte d'Ornellas, like Ivan Rioufol, they sometimes make them say what they did not say, these are distorted images, there is something that is not suitable, and Mr. Barthès allowed himself to say on the air:
“Shut up!”
to Ivan Rioufol in this case”
, began the particularly annoyed CNews journalist.
"Do you tolerate this?"
"Me, I don't know how things are going at TF1, I don't know if Mr. Rodolphe Belmer who runs TF1 admits that one of his journalists says
'Shut up'
"
, then asked the presenter of CNews before to add and conclude:
“You have a journalist who says
“Shut up”
and he also deals with stupid thoughts and he endangers people who make this channel.
I say it, Mr. Belmer, president of TF1, Martin Bouygues, do you tolerate that?
This is a question that I ask and that they can obviously answer.
As expected, Yann Barthès did not hesitate to react.
Thus, Thursday evening in "Quotidien", the journalist launched "Le Morning Glory" with the remonstrances of Pascal Praud.
“Oh but shut up!
, he reiterated,
What else has he got?”
.
The host of “Daily” then declared:
“They are still all rags because I still opened my mouth.
We got really yelled at and then he told the director
.
Making fun of Pascal Praud's criticisms, Yann Barthès then used the journalist to punctuate the rest of the column with several
"shut up"
.
"It's still funny to say
'shut up'
, admit it"
, he concluded with a smile on his face.
