A fatal car accident occurred in Tung Chung. Today (16th) at 9:18 am, a Long Win bus, a van and a 5.5-ton truck collided at Yu Tung Road near Tung Chung Interchange.

The Long Win bus E36A that was involved in the accident was traveling between Yat Tung Village and Yuen Long. At the time of the accident, it was driving along Yu Tung Road and crashed near the Tung Chung Interchange.
It was seen at the scene that the front of the bus was dented and damaged, and the windshield was broken; the front and rear of the 5.5-ton truck sandwiched in the middle were also damaged;

According to the police, the 64-year-old truck driver died at the scene. The other 11 injured included 4 men and 7 women. One of the injured women was unconscious when she was sent to the hospital.
