Six members of an organized gang specializing in the theft of auto parts were arrested on Tuesday, the gendarmerie announced in a statement on Friday, December 16.
Aged 23 to 47, these six individuals were arrested in Moselle and Oise, after a series of thefts in eastern France and Germany.
The investigation, carried out under the authority of the Blois public prosecutor's office, began on the night of February 28, 2022, when four individuals attacked a logistics depot for auto parts in Fossé, in the Loir-et-Cher.
The criminals stole 12 pallets of injectors from the French automobile group PSA and the German Volkswagen, for an amount close to 250,000 euros.

700,000 euros in damage
Some of the thugs were quickly identified, and investigators from the Orleans Research Section and the Central Office for the Fight against Itinerant Delinquency in Nancy established that the suspects, from Moselle, had also been spotted in the vicinity. of places where similar thefts were committed between 2019 and 2020, in Germany.
Among the small troop is a receiver, in the Oise, who sells the goods on the internet.
In total, the loss of these thefts amounts to nearly 700,000 euros.
Investigations continue for eight months to find the rest of the gang.
The authorities also discovered his involvement in vehicle theft.

On December 13, a hundred gendarmes and police, supported by dog teams and a helicopter, were deployed to arrest six suspects.
Searches are also carried out in parallel in Germany, during which luxury watches and nine vehicles are discovered, including two Mercedes and a BMW.
In total, 200,000 euros of criminal assets are seized.
The five implicated in the thefts were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention this Friday, December 16.
The alleged receiver was placed under judicial control.
