A method for cleaning scale from an electric kettle (@lucykalice/)
Sometimes it's amazing how easy it is to solve things that seem unsolvable at first glance.
Such a case is the scale in your electric kettle - any access to it without breaking the kettle seems very problematic.
It is true that there are special substances that are sold to clean the limescale - but it is always better to use a natural and not chemical substance.
Luckily for us Tiktok Smooth uses a quick and cheap method to remove stubborn scale from the kettle in just a few minutes.
People who didn't even know that scale had accumulated in their kettle and that it was dangerous were surprised by how simple it was to remove it.
So it's true, cleaning the scale in the kettle may not be your top priority, but over time, the scale may change the taste of the drinks you make and also damage the heating elements over time - and can be a breeding ground for dangerous bacteria including Legionella.
There are many products that claim to remove the scale in the kettle, but the Tiktok user @Lucykalice claims that there is a more effective and faster way - and that the material you need to use to remove the scale is probably already at home, so you won't have to spend money on it either.
Look how simple:

In the short video she shared, she showed how she does it - and all you need is lemon juice.
In the run-up to Christmas, Lucy did an intensive cleaning of her home - and she started with the kettle where quite a bit of scale had accumulated, as you can see in the video.
The 26-year-old cleaner explained: "I started by pouring some lemon juice in. I used juice from a bottle, but you can use fresh lemon, it will work just as well. I covered the bottom with lemon juice and then added some water. I boiled the kettle and let it sit for 30 minutes until all the scale came off."
Lucy then showed the inside of the kettle and added: "Look, there's barely any scale left in there."
To get rid of any lemony taste, she boiled the kettle a second time - only with water.
She then wiped down the kettle, the lid and the base it sits on.

how you will make scale disappear from the tap - in a genius trick for adults only,
its method has a scientific basis and Dr. Idan Goren explained that the scale - is actually salt that consists mainly of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. Water with a high mineral content is called Often "hard water". During the heating and boiling of the water, the solubility of certain minerals decreases and at the end of the process they crystallize into a solid on the bottom of the kettle and the heating body. To return the minerals from a solid state to a dissolved state, you can use any acidic substance - such as vinegar, lemon or lemon salt with water. The white layer should then be washed away. A similar process will occur inside the stomach if we drink water with scale crystals. The acidity in the stomach will cause them to dissolve and turn back into dissolved salt.
