A UN report issued by three experts condemned the violations and oppression of the Israeli occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinian people, noting that the year 2022 was the bloodiest year since the United Nations began documenting the numbers of Palestinian martyrs in 2005.

The report, published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, stated that the Israeli occupation forces have killed more than 150 Palestinians in the West Bank since the beginning of this year so far, including 33 children, and a boy was killed by the occupation forces or settlers who were Shooting side by side, the settlers killed at least two Palestinians.

The report pointed out that settlers attack Palestinians in their homes, children on their way to school, destroy property, burn olive groves, and terrorize entire communities with complete impunity, calling for the need to secure the protection of the Palestinian people in accordance with international law.

The report indicated that the year 2022 is the sixth year in a row that witnesses an annual increase in the number of settler attacks despite UN Security Council Resolution 2334 of 2016, which specifically aims to stop settlement activities, stressing that the occupation forces facilitate, support and participate in settler attacks against Palestinians. .
