A shot was fired today (Friday) at an Israeli vehicle near the village of Tel in Samaria.
There were no injuries, but the car was damaged by the shooting.
IDF forces began searching for suspects in the area.
The driver of the Israeli vehicle said that he noticed the vehicle doing a U-turn, and that after almost colliding with it, the driver of the vehicle motioned to him with his hands, and he heard gunshots. He continued his journey while contacting the police. About a week and a half ago, IDF forces shot to death a Palestinian who fired from a passing vehicle at a military post near the settlement of Ofra in Binyamin. Two days earlier, the same Palestinian posted a post on Facebook, in which he wrote, "It is my time to meet Allah."
The incident began when the terrorist who was driving the vehicle fired at the post In response, IDF forces fired at him and started chasing him.
The Palestinian noticed the fighters, then got out of the vehicle and fired at them again.
The force returned fire and killed him on the spot.
