And on we go with the Christmas markets in Maisach and Türkenfeld.
Maisach/Türkenfeld - The snow had snowed the
Maisacher
Volksfestplatz, Irish folk, atmospheric lighting and loving equipment made the atmosphere perfect for the start of the Christmas magic.
The market is open this Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and this Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Lots of handicrafts are sold, and visitors can warm up in a large tent – girls and boys can do handicrafts in a smaller one.
You can also discover the Snow Queen and take a seat on a throne.
Admission to the market costs three euros (up to twelve years free).
The Christmas in the mountains
in Türkenfeld
is in the final sprint.
The market at Steingassenberg (admission: six euros, free up to the age of 16) is open on Saturday from 12 noon to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 11.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Since the balloon launch of the Christkind on the third Sunday of Advent was canceled due to unsuitable winds, there will be another attempt on Sunday from 2 p.m.
Irrespective of this, the Christ Child comes to the Feststadl at 4 p.m. with presents for children.
If the flight works, a Christ child floats up into the sky, a second distributes presents.
Artists, dancers, Perchten, fire jugglers and musicians provide entertainment in Türkenfeld.
