In order to offer its guests new experiences, Europa-Park is constantly testing new technologies.

In a bar at Hotel Krønasår, robots could soon bring the food to the table.

Rust - When it comes to integrating modern technology into the customer experience, nobody can beat Europa-Park.

With the recently opened adventure restaurant "Eatrenalin", the operators presented a world first that could revolutionize gastronomy.

Visitors glide through various themed rooms on moveable seats and experience an interactive journey including an eight-course menu.

A technical innovation may also soon find its way into Hotel Krønasår.

As Thomas Mack, one of the managing directors of Europa-Park, announced on Twitter, a robot that brings the food to the table is currently being tested there in the "Bubba Svens" restaurant, reports BW24.

The concept of robots replacing human waiters is already being tested by some restaurants.

In times of increasing staff shortages in the catering trade, the idea is certainly a clever step - even if it is probably unfamiliar to the visitors at first.

In his tweet, Thomas Mack shows a test run of the robot "Max", which presents a broad smile on its monitor and drives through the room laden with glasses.

In the comment column for the tweet, Twitter users are divided on Max. While some praise the concept as "great" or find the robot "cute", others are skeptical.

“Always only technology!

Nothing replaces human contact - I think so, for my part," writes one user.

Another user thinks it's an "interesting idea", which, in his opinion, should be "optically adapted to the Europa Park design".

The robot waiter is the Plato concept from the United Robotics Group.

Since Europa-Park was partially staffed last summer, someone like Max could actually be a good solution when it comes to finding new employees.

According to Europa-Park owner Roland Mack, the reason why it is sometimes so difficult to find new staff is partly due to the demands of young people.

Even if Max is not flesh and blood, he should come at just the right time for Roland Mack - smiling, energetic and easy to care for.
