Five individuals were indicted and placed in pre-trial detention after the death, on October 14, of Jérémy Dasylva, violently attacked two days earlier in L'Escarène, a small town in the hinterland of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes ), indicates to

the parquet floor of Nice this Friday.
All are prosecuted for
"willful violence resulting in death without intention to give it".
However, no details were given on the identity or age of the suspects.
Suspected of a burglary at the home of a resident of L'Escarène, Jérémy Dasylva had been beaten and left for dead by a gang of young people, right in the middle of the village.
If some had quickly evoked the thesis of a “
manhunt
” to find the burglar, no element had made it possible to accredit it completely.
Evacuated by the firefighters and rushed to the Pasteur hospital in Nice, without his vital prognosis being engaged, the thirties had finally succumbed to his injuries.

Entrusted to the research brigade of the Nice gendarmerie under the authority of an investigating judge, the investigation had led to the arrest and placement in police custody, Tuesday, December 13, of three individuals, residents from the village suspected of being involved to varying degrees in the tragedy.
