Russia attacked today (Friday) throughout Ukraine, in an extensive missile attack, which is among the largest the country has experienced, according to the authorities.
According to the Ukrainian military, 76 missiles were fired at the country, which were apparently aimed at its energy facilities, in order to damage the electrical system, and thereby the rear, which is dealing with low temperatures of the winter season.
In the city of Kribi Raya in the Dnipropetrovsk district in the east of the country, three people were killed in the attack, and another 13 people were injured, including children.
The governor of the region said that "serious damage" was caused there.
The mayor of Kharkiv, the second largest city in Ukraine, also reported "enormous" damage in the city and warned against prolonged power outages while the temperatures are very low.
An official in Kiev described the missile attack as one of the largest the country has experienced since the Russian invasion began.
