Passengers of the Long Win bus involved in the accident recalled that the accident happened suddenly. Afterwards, one person was rescued from the right front of the truck. Some of the injured were bandaged on the spot and sent to Go to North Lantau Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
According to the police, the 64-year-old truck driver died on the spot. The 52-year-old passenger truck driver was seriously injured and sent to the hospital. After rescue, he was confirmed dead. The other 10 injured included 3 men and 7 women. One of the injured women was unconscious when she was sent to the hospital.
The driver of the compact truck died at the scene, and the police covered his body with a tent.
