Around Place de la Victoire, fans will be drinking from cups this weekend.
To limit overflows during the small and big final of the World Cup and to protect the police targeted by projectiles after the France-Morocco match, an "
anti-glass
" municipal decree was issued this Friday 16 december.
It prohibits “
transporting, consuming or selling drinks in glass containers
” within a delimited perimeter of the city center.
A restriction that also applies to bars and restaurants from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday and Sunday around the Place de la Victoire in Bordeaux, it will be forbidden to consume drinks in glass contents.

Operational during the France-Morocco match on Wednesday, the reinforced security system will be identical this weekend.
180 police forces, gendarmes and CRS included, will be deployed in the city.
Also mobilized, the firefighters will contribute to the protection of civilians.
In particular, forest fire tanker trucks will be stationed in order to anticipate any fire starting in garbage cans.
Ensured by the municipal police in collaboration with Kéolis, Bordeaux public transport manager, traffic will be diverted around the Place de la Victoire.

" of fireworks and firecrackers fired this Wednesday, the preventive searches ahead of the match will also be accentuated.
