Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, considered that the hostile statements of the United States towards Russia and China show its inability to engage in equal dialogue and fair competition, calling for the establishment of honest and equal cooperation that takes into account the interests of the parties without punitive practices, unilateral sanctions and interference in internal affairs.

The Russian Novosti Agency quoted Zakharova as saying in a statement published on the ministry’s website today: “The so-called draft law to combat malicious Russian activities in Africa, which includes collective punishment for any cooperation with Russia, is an example of this inability,” stressing the right of countries to choose their political partners. and economists and to preserve its values ​​and paths of civilizational development as it deems appropriate without fear of punishment.

Zakharova added: Restricting basic political and economic freedoms reveals dishonest practices in the context of competition and the shameless imposition of the Western agenda on other countries, reaffirming Moscow's solidarity with its African friends.

And Zakharova confirmed earlier today that if the United States had the ability to destroy Russia and seize oil, gas and all the world's wealth, it would have taken the initiative to do so immediately.
