"Woooow, not bad" - Video shows the onset of winter at Nuremberg Airport

Numerous flights were canceled in Munich, and snow and frost also caused a lot of work at Nuremberg Airport, as a video shows.
Nuremberg – Winter has fully arrived in Bavaria this week.
Sub-zero temperatures, snow and ice were and are the rule rather than the exception.

Nuremberg has not been spared from the winter weather either.
"It's been so frosty the last few days at Nuremberg Airport," writes the Albrecht Dürer Airport on a Facebook video from December 16th.
It was viewed over 3700 times in just 12 hours.
The video shows airplanes on the snow-covered runway, as well as numerous clearing vehicles at work.
Aircraft had to be de-iced before take-off.

"Woooow, not bad": Airport video enthusiastic
"Woooow, not bad," someone wrote enthusiastically under the video.
"Here it snowed every now and then and it was pretty chilly cold." Someone then replies: "Wow...that's our fleet from winter service in Nuremberg.
The tippers that drive away the snow when it gets too much also come from Nuremberg and sometimes also farmers with tractors and tippers..." explains the person.
