The LR group in the Assembly warned on Saturday that it will vote against the bill to accelerate renewable energies, which it considers "
useless
" and granting "
unjustified advantages
" to the wind industry.
"
The uselessness of this text, the lack of advances on other more relevant renewable energies, the unjustified exemptions granted to wind power, and the government's lack of vision on the means of restoring our sovereignty in terms of electricity supply will lead (...) the group to vote AGAINST this text
, ”wrote the parliamentary group of Republicans in a press release.

The National Assembly completed the examination of the project overnight from Thursday to Friday, without major difficulties for the macronists, deprived of an absolute majority.
The executive believes it can obtain a favorable vote on January 10, thanks to the PS and the independent group Liot, while the position of environmentalists and LFI remains more uncertain.
In session, the deputies LR and RN scrapped for two weeks against the “
nuisances ” of wind turbines, an “
intermittent
” energy
.
Beauty of the landscapes
The LR group once again denounces in its press release “
the risks that such a proliferation of wind turbines would pose to the beauty of our landscapes and the local acceptance of the projects
”.
The sensitive subject of the endorsement of the mayors to install wind turbines and solar panels particularly animated the debates of the Assembly.
And, in line with a compromise reached in the Senate, the deputies finally validated a planning mechanism to define “
acceleration
” zones for the deployment of renewable energies, subject to the approval of the mayors.
For the LR group, "
it would have been better to first revise the multiannual energy program, relaunch nuclear power, reform the European electricity market
".
