The police arrived at the scene to confirm that no one and no vehicles were pinned down, and immediately blocked a section of Ming Fung Street opposite, vehicles from Sha Tin Au Road heading towards Tsz Wan Shan, and could not turn right to Ming Fung Street; and notified the person in charge of the site to deal with it.
The Transport Department announced that due to the collapse of scaffolding, the entire line of Ming Fung Street and Tsui Fung Street (both directions) is now closed.
