Voting began in Tunisia today in the legislative elections to choose members of the next parliament, from among 1058 candidates.
According to the Tunisian News Agency, the polling stations opened their doors at eight in the morning, local time, and closed their doors at six in the evening.
The total number of voters registered in the data of the Independent High Authority for Elections in Tunisia exceeds 9 million.
The percentage of young people between the ages of 18 and 45 years represents about 55 percent of registered voters.
The Higher Independent Authority for Elections allocated 11,485 polling stations, including 4,692 polling stations inside and outside Tunisia.
