The final three episodes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix documentary reveal just how deep the rift between Harry and the British royal family really is.

Montecito/London – After Prince Harry (38) and Meghan Markle (41) held back in the first three parts of the Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan", the final episodes reveal the dramatic dimensions of the whole royal drama.

A reconciliation between Prince Harry and his family seems to be a long way off after the documentary was released.

Harry and Meghan's exit plans were the last straw.

"My brother yelled at me": In Sandringham, the dispute between Harry and William escalated

At a meeting in Sandringham with Queen Elizabeth II († 96), the then heir to the throne Charles (74) and Prince William (40) on January 13, 2020, it was to be discussed how things should continue with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after they had previously announced their partial withdrawal on Instagram.

According to Harry and Meghan, the appointment was made so that Meghan was already back in Canada with son Archie (3).

In the Netflix documentary, Prince Harry explains that Meghan and he would have liked to continue working for the Queen, but a compromise was rejected.

"It became clear very quickly that that wasn't up for debate," Prince Harry said in the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan.

"It was awful, my brother was yelling at me and my dad was saying things that just weren't true while my grandmother sat quietly taking it all in."

Looking back, Prince Harry says,

"The saddest thing about it was that wedge that was between me and my brother, he now sides with the institution.

I understand part of that, that's his heritage.

He was impressed that part of his responsibility is the continued existence of this institution.”

This is Sandringham House:

The estate was purchased by Queen Victoria in 1862 for her son, who later became King Edward VII.

Sandringham House is located in the English county of Norfolk, very close to the small village of Sandringham.

The country estate is privately owned by the British royal family, who traditionally spend Christmas and part of January there.

Next to the country house are York Cottage, Wood Farm and Anmer Hall country houses on the Sandringham grounds.

Prince Harry's bitter realization: Royals were willing to lie for Prince William

After the Sandringham meeting, rumors surfaced that Prince William had been bullying Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of the British royal family.

When a joint statement was released on behalf of the brothers denying this story, Harry finally freaked out.

"We couldn't believe it.

No one had asked my permission to put my name under such a statement," Harry said.

When Harry then called Meghan, she burst into tears.

"Within four hours they were more than willing to lie to protect my brother.

And yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us."

Even almost three years after the dispute, there is no reconciliation between Prince Harry and the royal family in sight.
