The Central African Republic strongly condemns the terrorist attack that targeted the head of the Russian House Center in Bangui, Dmitry Seti, and announces the immediate opening of a judicial investigation into this crime.
And Agence France-Presse quoted the Minister responsible for the General Secretariat of Government and Relations with Institutions, Maxim Ballou, as saying: “There is a massive campaign to destabilize the country by the enemies of the Central African people, whose last maneuver was the detonation of a booby-trapped parcel targeting the head of the Russian House Center on the 16th of December.” ".
The Russian ambassador to the Central African Republic announced that Seti's condition was serious yesterday and he continues to receive appropriate medical care.
France, the former colonial power, withdrew its soldiers from the country, and the last of them left the capital, Bangui, last Thursday.
