At least 11 people were injured in an explosion aboard a ferry on Sunday December 18 in Yangon, the economic capital of Burma, according to a security source and local media.
The explosion occurred around 7:00 p.m. (1:30 p.m. Paris time) in a ferry carrying passengers on the Yangon, a river that waters the region, towards the town of Dala, a security source told AFP. anonymity.
Eleven men were injured, the source said, while local media reported 13 injured.
Footage released by local media showed blood and debris strewn across a wooden floor.
When questioned, a spokesman for the junta did not comment.
