Dozens of settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first day of the "Anwar" holiday
The Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem reported that dozens of settlers stormed, today, Sunday, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the Mughrabi Gate direction, under heavy protection from Israeli forces.
And the Islamic Endowments said, according to what was reported by the Palestinian News and Information Agency (Wafa), that the settlers began their incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first day of the Hebrew "Anwar" holiday.
She added, "The occupation soldiers deployed in the mosque's courtyards, expelling young men who were present in the courtyards, and obstructing the entry of worshipers and Sharia school students into the mosque."
According to the agency, "Jewish groups, led by Ben Gvir, called for unprecedented storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, on the occasion of the Jewish "Anwar" holiday, which begins today and continues until the twenty-sixth of this December.
She pointed out that "the Israeli authorities, a few days ago, removed a banner placed by the Israeli Chief Rabbinate, ten years ago, prohibiting Jews from entering Al-Aqsa, and placed another encouraging the storming of the mosque, and the performance of Talmudic rituals in its courtyards and squares."
