Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 44, said he would be happy to enter the ring to fight Russian President Vladimir Putin, 70, at any time.
"I am always ready," Zelensky said today, Sunday, in response to a question about that during an interview with the French TV channel "TF1".
He continued, "A real man, if he wants to say something to someone or if he wants to punch him in the face, he does it himself, and he does not send any intermediaries."
Zelensky said that he himself would not need intermediaries for this.
He has always been open to such suggestions.
In response to a question if he was ready to fight Putin, Zelensky said, laughing, "Tomorrow I don't care... Then this will be the last summit of the President of the Russian Federation."
The interview touched on this question after the publication of a report in the newspaper "Le Monde" that said that French President Emmanuel Macron told Putin that he would practice boxing, so Putin asked him to imagine that he was hitting Zelensky.
