The Office of the President is paying attention to the fact that the place where North Korea launched a missile today (18th) is near Dongchang-ri, where a solid fuel engine test was conducted three days ago.
This is because North Korea may have test-fired a new solid-fuel medium-range missile following the test of a large solid engine for an ICBM.
North Korea is also changing its short-range missiles for striking South Korea to solid fuel-based missiles, such as the North Korean version of Iskander and the North Korean version of Atacums. I see.
Solid propellant missiles do not require fuel injection, so it is not easy for South Korea, the US and Japan to respond as a surprise launch can be made by shortening the launch preparation time.
