Almost seven years after the murderous attack at the Nablus gate in Jerusalem, in which a terrorist squad killed the late Hadar Cohen, the military court today (Sunday) sentenced the accused Bilal Abu Zeid, who was convicted of the crime of intentionally causing death, the equivalent for murder in Yosh.

On top of that, Abu Zeid was convicted of the crime of attempting to cause death on purpose and other crimes.

This is for his part in the murder of the late Hadar Cohen in February 2016 and the wounding of another MGB fighter in the same attack.

The defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment and an additional 32 years in prison.

The late Hadar Cohen was laid to rest: "Proud and salute you"

According to the ruling of the military court, the defendant did not go to the scene of the attack by himself, so that he could, as he said, "stay alive and kill Jews." His accomplices arrived at the Nablus gate in Jerusalem, where they shot to death the late Hadar Cohen female soldier, and wounded another female MGB female soldier. The military court accepted the position of the military prosecution, and convicted the terrorist of murder, after it was proven that he was a partner in planning the attack, provided his accomplices with weapons and on the day of the attack helped them reach Israel.
