The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department announced the latest Red Leaf Index of the Taitang Sweetgum Forest on the 16th of this month, and it finally turned from green to yellow, which means that the time to enjoy the red leaves is near.

The Fisheries and Conservation Department publishes the Red Leaf Index of Tai Tong Sweetgum Forest every year, which is divided into four grades from A to D. D means it is still green, C means it has turned yellow, B means it has started to red, and A means it is extremely red.

1. Tai Tong, Yuen Long

The Tai Tong Sweetgum Forest is the most popular place to enjoy red leaves in Hong Kong, many of which are native species of Hong Kong.

2. Po Hong Park, Po Lam, Tseung Kwan O

3. Niao Kau Tang Village, Tai Po

6. Kowloon Walled City Park

Kowloon Walled City Park has eight plant trails.
