Iranian film star and feminist Taraneh Alidoosti was arrested on Saturday, December 17, in Tehran.
The authorities reproach her for her support for the demonstrators on social networks where she is seen in particular removing her veil.
Taraneh Alidoosti is among many celebrities arrested by Iranian law enforcement for their support of protesters.
But the actress is undoubtedly the most popular and known internationally among the artists arrested.
She has acted in several award-winning films by director Asghar Farhadi, including
, Oscar for best foreign language film in 2017. An actress since her adolescence, she has also acted in Saeed Roustayi's film,

Pay the Price
Taraneh Alidoosti has promised to stay in his country to "
pay the price
" necessary to defend his rights.
The actress is now arousing a wave of support in the world of cinema.
