Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi condemned the United States and European countries' exploitation of international mechanisms and human rights issues against independent countries, stressing that strengthening cooperation between independent countries is one of the ways to thwart the pressures of the arrogant front.
During his meeting today with Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Denis Moncada, Raisi considered the capabilities available in the Latin American region, including Nicaragua, as a suitable ground for expanding relations between these countries and Iran.
Raisi praised the good relations between Tehran and Managua and the constructive cooperation of the two countries at the international level and international organizations.
For his part, the Nicaraguan foreign minister praised Iran's strength and its steadfastness in the face of the pressures resulting from the US embargo, stressing the importance of organizing and implementing a comprehensive economic and trade cooperation document between Iran and Nicaragua and accelerating the pace of procedures for this purpose.
In turn, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed, during his meeting with Moncada, Iran's readiness to raise the level of economic and trade relations to the highest levels with Nicaragua.
Abdullahian expressed his satisfaction with the level of Iranian-Nicaraguan relations, pointing out that the signing of a plan for comprehensive cooperation between the two parties is a new and strategic road map with the aim of expanding cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, a comprehensive cooperation document was signed between the two countries.
