Member of the Russian Federation Council for the Republic of Crimea, Olga Kovetidi, confirmed that sending the United States of America military advisors to Ukraine represents an explicit challenge to Russia, which will respond to that.
And the Russian RT channel quoted Kovetidi as saying: “Washington must understand that we in Russia are closely monitoring every step it takes, and if the Pentagon decides to send military advisers to Ukraine, Moscow may consider this an explicit challenge to Russia, which will reserve the right to respond that is not favorable to Washington.”
Kovetidi noted that arming Ukraine is costly for NATO members, as they are systematically depleting their weapons stores of air defense systems, tanks and artillery shells.
