A transgender broadcaster satirist revealed the story of having a conflict with his family due to coming out.
Satire introduced the past of coming out under the theme of 'first experience' in the MBC entertainment program 'Tongue Mixed Martial Arts Set Chih tongue', which aired on the night of the 18th.
Satire, she said, "I came out to my parents three times," she said. "The first was when I was in middle school, and I told my father, 'I want to live as a woman,' but he thought it was a joke and laughed."
“The second time, I came out in high school, but at that time, I knew it wasn’t a joke and said, ‘How can you do this without having problems? .
Satire said, "And when I was 20, I said, 'I'm really sincere, I'm not sick anywhere, and I'm a little different from others, but I'm confident that I'll live hard as a woman.' “I can’t do that, you have to kill me to do that,” he said.
Satire confessed, "I argued for several hours, but I couldn't break my stubbornness. I ran away from home when my father went to smoke."
Satire also told the story of reuniting with his family again.
He said, "I got a call one day and said that my younger brother had collapsed for an unknown reason. I got a call from my father at dawn, and my younger brother regained consciousness and the first thing he said was, 'I miss you so much'" and said, "I broke my stubbornness once. They said, "How can you live in a harsh world like that, even going against your parents' words and living like that. At that time, I really collapsed. I wondered how I could do this, I wondered if I was being selfish. But my father said, 'Come home. I'll admit it first." Let's meet," he said.
He went home and revealed that his family did not recognize each other.
Satire said, "My father was a strong man wearing a size 110, but he became a weak grandfather wearing a size 95, and the younger brother who gave me 190mm shoes became a young man wearing 285mm shoes."
Satire said, "It was so awkward to see my appearance change after 10 years. That's why I wanted to get closer and be recognized." I cried.
Satire said, “I didn’t want to cry in front of my family, so I went to the bathroom to wash my face and came out, but my father was standing in front of me.
He said, "My mother passed away early, but my father put his hand on my shoulder and said, 'Your daughter looks just like your mother.' It may take a while, but you are my child. I will protect you and accept all the criticism that comes from you. He told me to live confidently as a woman because I have a father."
His younger brother and sister also gave Satire a warm welcome.
Satire said, "My younger brother passed by and put his hand on my shoulder and said, 'My sister is a pig.' I cried, 'Yes, I am a pig. Your sister is a pig.'"
Her sister wrote her hand letter to her satire.
He said, "My younger sister wrote in the letter, 'After her mother passed away, she grew up alone in a house with three men, and she missed her mother a lot, but she seems to have a mother. Let's get along well as her mother in the future as her older sister'" did.
Satire conveyed the changed family atmosphere, saying, "Now my family gets along very well. We go on a trip."
However, Satire's family said that they were afraid of the criticism that Satire would receive, and that they had not yet watched Satire's broadcast.
Satire said, "I want to tell my father that there are many people like you who support me."
