It's the end of a fall marathon that hasn't gone smoothly.

On Saturday, Parliament definitively adopted the 2023 draft budget of the State by resorting for the tenth time - an unprecedented frequency since the government of Michel Rocard in 1989 - to the weapon of 49-3, which makes it possible to ratify a text without going through the vote.

A twelfth and final motion of no confidence from the left was rejected.

However, this umpteenth passage in force has not extinguished the opposition.

The LR group has announced that it will seize the Constitutional Council to challenge a finance bill deemed "

insincere

", and a right of amendment "

not respected

", indicated Véronique Louwagie (LR) to the Assembly.

The Nupes also announced that it wanted to seize this body, arguing that the text adopted was

"manifestly contrary to several provisions and principles of constitutional and organic value

".
