The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court today (Sunday) extended the detention of the suspect in the sexual assault of a young woman who came to file a complaint, and allowed his details to be published in two days.
During the hearing, the suspect's lawyer denied what was attributed to him, and claimed that the young woman is a "serial complainer".
Judge Avital Amsalem replied: "The argument is irrelevant," and decided to extend the suspect's detention.
The lawyer also claimed in the hearing that the complainant asked the suspicious policeman to give her a ride home.
"This is an outstanding police officer, a guy who has never had a criminal and negative act, we have never complained about him. This is a serial complainant who probably does not understand the meaning of the complaint," said the lawyer.

According to a source privy to the details, the young woman wanted to go to the police station to complain about her former partner, and the suspect convinced her to give up filing the complaint on the grounds that he would help her.
He then offered to drop her off at her house, to search the apartment and check that the threatening person was not there.
So he committed indecent acts on her.
The young woman pushed him away and said she was not interested, and he left the apartment.
She then contacted the police hotline, and he received the call and tried to convince her not to give her testimony.
Yesterday, the policeman suspected of sexually assaulting a young woman who came to complain at a police station was arrested.
The investigation revealed that the young woman came to complain about serious crimes, the suspicious policeman approached her and said she should file a complaint the next day, and offered to drop her off at her home, where he sexually assaulted her.
The police investigation department arrested the suspect and interrogated him with a warning.
He is now accused of committing indecent acts, obstruction of justice and impeachment in the investigation.
He will be brought today for a hearing on the extension of his detention at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.
