has become the latest celebrity to be persecuted by the Iranian authorities.

, as a result of her messages of support for the protests that took place unleashed last September by the death in police custody of
Mahsa Amini
.
Authorities accuse her of spreading false information.
In the brief note reporting the arrest, the official IRNA news agency, citing judicial sources, explains that the arrests of several well-known -unidentified- figures occurred "after some unsubstantiated comments on recent events, as well as the publication of provocative material in support of previous street riots".
In the case of Alidoosti, she adds,
"she did not provide the documentation that would prove some of her allegations"
, for which she was arrested by order of the judicial authority.
For years, the actress has earned the affection of a significant part of the population not only through her well-known work, but also through her posts on feminist social networks and addressing taboos.
In one of her first films, Alidoosti played a single, underage mother.
In the context of the recent demonstrations and riots, the 38-year-old woman
recorded herself without a veil and posting messages of denunciation

She also refused to leave Iran, following other celebrities.
In one of these publications, the interpreter accused some international organizations of not speaking out against the execution of Mohsen Shekari, whose death sentence for blocking a street and injuring an agent was carried out last week.
"His name was Mohsen Shekari.
Every international organization that is watching this bloodbath without acting is a disgrace to humanity,"
she declared.
As of this Sunday, her Instagram and Twitter accounts remain suspended.
Apart from domestic issues, Taraneh Alidoosti has also defended causes critical of the attitude of third countries towards their compatriots.

Hamedi was taking photos in the Tehran hospital where Amini did not get over the coma he entered after going through the police station;
Mohammadi was present at the young woman's funeral.
