"Chaos weather" is looming: Bavaria is facing a change in the weather.
But before that, the DWD issues three warnings.
Munich – The Siberian cold including freezing rain dominates the weather situation in Bavaria.
In the last week, the German Weather Service (DWD) has warned of black ice several times with a severe weather warning.
The consequences were enormous, air traffic was temporarily canceled in Munich and slippery roads led to accidents.
Now the DWD warns again, three warnings apply to the Free State.

It will be smooth at the beginning of the week in the following counties:

The freezing rain is causing widespread black ice to form, so restrictions on road and rail traffic are to be expected.
All of central and northern Germany is also affected by the warning, and there is a risk of traffic chaos on Monday morning.
DWD warns of gusts of wind on the edge of the Alps
From Sunday 6 p.m. to Monday 11 a.m., there is also an official warning of “low ice” and frost throughout Bavaria.
According to the DWD, "moderate frost" occurs down to -9 degrees.
On the edge of the Alps, there has also been a warning of gusts of wind since Sunday morning, 10 a.m.
"Above 1500 meters there are gusts of wind with speeds of up to 80 km/h from the south-west," according to the DWD.
This can cause individual branches to fall, for example.
"Pay special attention to falling objects." The warning is valid until Monday evening, 6 p.m.
Meteorologist Dominik Jung from

"Chaos weather at Christmas": Expert predicts mild temperatures on Christmas Eve
As far as the weather at Christmas is concerned, according to Jung, “everything is still possible”.
However, according to current forecasts, a trend for Bavaria can clearly be identified.
According to the ensemble forecast for southern Germany, a white Christmas is "very, very unlikely," as Jung explains.
The American weather model shows mild temperatures of around 11 degrees for southern Bavaria on December 24th.
Winter seems to be withdrawing from the Free State for the time being.
