The windows of several buildings were smashed and 14 houses were damaged, Vyacheslav Gladkov said.
Localities and infrastructures in the region very frequently suffer from fire, often fatal, attributed by Moscow to the Ukrainian army.
The regional capital Belgorod was also directly hit several times.
The governor indicated at the end of November that a line of fortifications was under construction on the border, without specifying the length or its location.
