Conservationists protested against the environmental pollution caused by snow cannons in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Sunday.
At the valley station in the Classic ski area, they drew attention to energy and water consumption.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen - "Waste energy - without us!" was written on posters and a banner.
The ten activists from the "Mountain Wilderness" organization originally wanted to write a large peace sign and a slogan on the ski slope at the valley station of the Hausbergbahn on Sunday, December 18th, using biodegradable paint.
But the campaign failed because the technology did not work properly due to the cold.

Ultimately, only the peace sign could be sprayed without the planned "Save Energy" lettering.
A spokesman for the organization said the nozzles would not have given off any paint when the temperature was below zero.
Since the meeting was not registered, the police intervened.
Shortly thereafter, the event was dissolved on its own.
The organizers had shown themselves to be cooperative, the officials said.
The activists have to be prepared for an administrative offense under the Bavarian Assembly Act.
You face a fine of up to 3000 euros.
