José Enrique Abuín Gey, alias El Chicle and author of the murder of Diana Quer, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison by the Provincial Court of A Coruña, who considers him the author of a crime of sexual assault for raping a woman in January 2005. of his sisters-in-law, Vanessa, his wife's twin sister and mother of his daughter, when she was 17 years old.

The court, according to the resolution provided this Monday by the Galician Superior Court of Justice, has also imposed a ban on communicating with the victim and approaching her for twenty-two years, as well as the payment of compensation of 30,000 euros.

The magistrates consider it proven that the defendant, on January 17, 2005, after calling the victim twice early in the morning to tell her that he wanted to return some money to his father, appeared in front of her house and convinced her, "taking advantage of their family relationship" so that he would get into his car, "claiming that they would go to collect that money."

After the minor entered the vehicle, the defendant, according to the sentence, "drove at high speed" to the San Mamede park, in the Lousame City Hall, where the San Lourenzo chapel is located, "in a forest environment."

The judges emphasize that this place is "very little frequented at that time on a day like the one on which the facts occurred."

Once there, according to the ruling, after exchanging a few words and taking his sister-in-law's phone and putting it away, the convicted man "took out a large knife and showed it to the victim, while passing it to her as a warning its possible use close to the body".

The magistrates report that with the knife "always in hand", he told her to perform fellatio, to which the minor refused.

Then, and always according to the account of the proven facts of the sentence, he asked her to undress, gave her a nightgown to put on, placed himself above her in the passenger seat and, "keeping the knife in his hand and near the minor's body as a threat", raped her.

Later, he told her that if she told anyone what had happened, "he would kill her, her sister, and her sister's daughter, who was also his daughter, as well as kill himself."
