Al Ali pointed out that the speed of achieving this achievement in a record period of time since the launch of the platform embodies the importance of integrating technical and electronic solutions into the means of education, innovation in providing a meaningful educational message that reaches all those in need who love science and knowledge, and keeping pace with changes in the global educational scene, considering that 100 million followers of educational classes from 70 countries mean a lot to us in the global initiatives of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and push us to complete this march to spread Arabic educational content and serve our students.

By the end of 2020, the “Madrasa” platform added a total of 1,000 new educational videos to its digital library of video lessons, to provide an integrated curriculum in the Arabic language and cover the academic stages from kindergarten to the end of the secondary stage, in addition to educational videos about the aesthetics and literature of the Arabic language, And interesting stories for children who love them in the language of Dhad, which raised the total number of specialized educational lessons that it provides in all subjects to more than 6,700 video lessons.

In conjunction with International Arabic Language Day 2022, the “Madrasa” platform launched a project to design and implement 1,000 additional educational videos in Arabic in the near future, to enrich the content of its library, which includes thousands of video lessons.

The new project covers innovative new tracks unique to the Madrasah platform, including the astronomy and space track, the financial literacy track, the climate change track, and the health and well-being track.

And while the world began to take emergency precautionary measures after the outbreak of the new Corona virus and the World Health Organization’s declaration of the “Covid-19” epidemic in the first quarter of 2020, the Madrasa platform did not stop producing videos during the closing phase, but the homes and residences of the work teams turned into work studios. A school platform, through cooperation between the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), also launched the "Be Aware" campaign. The translation challenge attracted more than 50,000 volunteers who submitted their requests to participate in it from more than 40 countries from various fields of translation, education, scientific investigation, graphic design, artistic montage and voiceover to produce multimedia educational content that benefits and attracts students.

In response to the directives of His Highness to meet the need for high-level Arabic educational content that transcends Arab borders and is available to millions of Arab students, the outputs of the challenge turned into the basis for the "Madrasa" initiative, which provided free, unprecedented interactive educational content in the Arabic language, through thousands of video lessons that were designed under the supervision of Specialized educational and technical committees.

These video lessons were produced according to the latest international educational curricula and the best technical standards, and with a model that takes into account the changing educational needs of students at various stages, and complements the curricula adopted in Arab countries and others.

Initiatives for the language of Dhad

The “School” platform is one of the many initiatives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, which His Highness constantly launches in order to preserve the Arabic language and its civilizational and humanitarian role as a common denominator between many cultures, peoples and societies, and a major global language within the language adopted by United Nations organizations and programs.
