Racket at the Luitpoldhalle: Officials had to use irritant spray
The thug wanted to continue hitting the man lying on the ground, but noticed a police patrolman who became aware of the incident and rushed over.
As he fled, he was caught up by the officers and arrested, defending himself as best he could and also insulting them.
Due to his strong resistance, the officers also had to use the irritant spray.
Called-in support forces were busy preventing the youth group, which consisted of 30 people, from freeing the thug from police custody.
The victim was taken to Freising Hospital with a laceration and suspected concussion.
The officers sustained minor injuries such as bruises and abrasions as a result of the resistance actions. The young perpetrator is now being investigated for intentional bodily harm, attempted bodily harm, assault on law enforcement officers and resistance to law enforcement officers.
