5 dead in a shooting in the suburbs of Toronto
Five people were killed and another injured in a shooting in the eastern Canadian suburbs of Toronto, police said.
Local police chief Jim McSwain told reporters that the suspect passed away after an exchange of fire with security personnel, adding that the shooting took place in a residential building, and the injured was taken to hospital and not in danger.
The police are currently working to determine the motives behind this killing and to search for any link between the victims and the suspect, whose identity has not been revealed.
Police believe that the suspect carried out the shooting alone.
As for the victims, they were found in different apartments of the building located in the city of Vaughn, about thirty kilometers north of Toronto (Ontario).
