A letter to Santa Claus in December 2021 resulted in a good deed that recently came to fruition.
On France Bleu Drôme Ardèche, the president of the departmental Association of parents and friends of people with mental disabilities in Drôme (ADAPEI 26) had launched an appeal.
The organization subsequently received a donation of 400,000 euros as part of an agreement finally signed last week.
The generous donor is another association in the south of the Drôme which did not want his name to be communicated, indicates

.
ADAPEI 26 and its 700 members provide help and support to people with intellectual disabilities.
Last year, its manager Jean-Luc Chorier had read his wish list to Santa Claus on the local radio.
Qualified by the person concerned as a “bottle in the sea”, the message denounced in particular the lack of places intended in specialized care establishments.
Hearing the wishes of the president, the association managing a bequest of 400,000 euros decided to pay it to ADAPEI.
The funds will finance fittings and the purchase of equipment.
