A poetic meeting and a lecture on public eloquence at the Arabic Language Festival in Al-Hasakah

As part of the activities to celebrate the Arabic Language Day organized by the Directorate of Culture, the branch of the Arab Writers Union and the Safsaf Al-Khabour Cultural Association, a poetry meeting and a lecture on (public speaking) were held at the Arab Cultural Center in the city of Hasakah.

The content of the poetic meeting focused on the Arabic language, its aesthetics, and the magnificence of its statement, where the poet Khalil Kirkukli participated in a poem entitled (The Language of Guidance), including the meanings of pride and pride in the language of science, rhetoric, statement, and beauty, which was the main carrier of a civilization that extended to the east and west of the earth, and the call for its children to adhere to it and speak with it as a factor. essential to the existence of the nation.

The poet Aladdin Hassan, in his poem (Rhetoric and Statement), touched on the beauty of the Arabic language represented by eloquence, eloquence, statement, and beautiful creative images, and the splendor of meanings and structures that appear in the various arts of literature and poetry, and the need for its children to confront the fierce attempts that want to undermine it.

The poetic meeting was followed by a lecture by Dr. Abdullah Al-Hussein entitled (From the eloquent public) in which he talked about the classical Arabic language and the historical entry of the colloquial into it, and examples of eloquent vocabulary and structures that some believe are colloquial words that are not eloquent.

The festive activities will continue until the end of this week, with lectures and seminars on (Arabic between Orientalists and Westerners), (e-book and paper book) and (the Arabic word in structure and semantics) presented at the Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah.
