In the past few days, the wintry road conditions again caused several traffic accidents on the roads in the Fürstenfeldbruck police station's service area.
There were also injuries reported.
Fürstenfeldbruck – According to the police, there was a rear-end collision on the B 471 near Grafrath on Friday morning.
A 62-year-old car driver from the district of Landsberg am Lech was unable to stop in time due to the slippery road and hit a car in front from behind.
The property damage is estimated at around 3000 euros.
Almost at the same time, around 9 a.m., a 25-year-old car driver lost control of her BMW at the entrance to Grafrath on Moorenweiser Strasse and slammed into a traffic sign.
The woman from Jesenwang was not injured, her vehicle suffered damage of 3,000 euros.
Against a street lamp
The snow-slick road was fatal to a 23-year-old car driver from Geltendorf on Friday.
He slipped off the road at around 9 a.m. shortly before entering Dünzelbach (municipality of Moorenweis) in a right-hand curve and crashed his Audi into a street lamp.
According to the police, the total damage is estimated at 3,000 euros.

On Friday afternoon there was a rear-end collision in Fürstenfeldbruck on Augsburger Straße around 3 p.m.
A 49-year-old car driver was unable to stop her Skoda due to the snow-covered road and slipped onto the rear of a Ford ahead.
The damage here was minimal.
Seriously injured
An 83-year-old woman from Moorenweis had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries after she slipped on the sidewalk in Ammerseestrasse around 4:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
She broke her leg multiple times.
Crash in the roundabout
According to the police, inappropriate speed on the wintry roads was also the cause of the accident on Saturday morning around 0.30 a.m.
The 72-year-old driver of a small van was traveling on the B 2 federal road from Fürstenfeldbruck and wanted to take the exit towards Oberschweinbach at the roundabout.
The driver from Baden-Württemberg ran over the traffic island and crashed into the crash barrier.
The driver was not injured, but one of his four occupants suffered minor injuries.
As a precaution, all people were medically examined in a hospital.
According to the police, the Mercedes van was a total loss of 10,000 euros.
Bus rams car
Another rear-end collision occurred on Saturday around 10 a.m. between Adelshofen and Nassenhausen.
A bus hit a car in front after it skidded and had to brake.
According to the police, the 53-year-old bus driver tried to avoid the skidding car, but was unable to stop in time.
The total damage amounts to 6000 euros.
The passengers and the two drivers were not injured.
