“Special thanks to you, Vladimir Vladimirovich, and not only from me, and not only from the military, for keeping your promise.
Today we put on combat duty the S-400 complex, which you handed over to Belarus, and, most importantly, the Iskander complex, which you promised six months ago, handed over to us,” Lukashenko said at a press conference.
The fact that Iskanders and S-400s will enter the country's troops was announced by the Belarusian Defense Ministry in October.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also allowed the possibility of training the crews of aircraft of the Armed Forces of Belarus, converted to use ammunition with a special warhead.
