In the fight against climate change, activists of the "last generation" are protesting with violent actions.

One of them used to work for car brands of all things.

Munich – In recent months, spectacular actions by climate activists have repeatedly made headlines.

Nationwide, groups like the “Last Generation” protested against the environmental policy of the EU and the federal government.

Activists are sticking themselves to the streets to support their calls for tougher action on climate change.

Throwing liquids at valuable paintings was also part of the protest actions.

The climate activists do not always meet with approval for their actions.

Criticism of the actions of the "Last Generation" and other groups has come up again and again.

Sometimes it also turns into pure malice: A climate activist from the "last generation" recently showed his tar hand, the street glue had worked too well at a protest in Mainz.

In the end, construction workers had to excavate a whole stretch of road from the ground in order to free the activist's glued hand from the ground.

The climate activist posed online on the Twitter page of the "Last Generation" with his hand complete with lumps of tar - and was mocked as a "tar miner".

Now there is renewed excitement about the environmental activists in question.

As the

claims to have found out, the man has a past that connects him with the auto industry of all things.

The climate activist is therefore a 38-year-old who has already worked professionally as an actor and speaker.

In 2018 he did advertising for the Japanese car manufacturer Suzuki.

Climate activist of the "last generation" once advertised traffic jam assistant - double standards or change of heart?

Today's climate activist was apparently part of the cast of a commercial for the Suzuki SUV "Jimny".

The environmental campaigner was also involved in the shooting of an image film for the automotive company Seat, which is part of the VW Group.

The clip advertised a traffic jam assistant in the Seat Ateca model.

This is certainly not without a certain irony - after all, the climate activist and his comrades-in-arms are often responsible for traffic jams through their protest actions on the streets.

His previous engagements could now earn the activist the accusation of double standards.

On the other hand, one has to admit that the climate fighter may have simply changed his attitude at the time, despite previous jobs in the auto industry.

Possibly the engagements for Suzuki and Seat were a kind of eye-opener for him, which brought about a change of heart.

And have made him a determined fighter against climate change.

Meanwhile, the climate activist in the Bavarian capital would be punishable with another adhesive action.

The city of Munich banned all climate protests by decree "for preventive averting danger" until the beginning of 2023.
