That could have been eye-opening: A 57-year-old woman crashed her paraglider on the Wank in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
She had problems right from the start.
Garmisch-Partenkirchen – This accident just got off lightly: A 57-year-old paraglider pilot from the Weilheim area crashed on Wank on Sunday.
As the mountain rescue service reports, she had problems right after the start and landed in a tree below the take-off site.
The accident happened around 1 p.m.
Luckily she was unharmed, but was unable to free herself.
Five mountain rescue buddies rescue the paraglider pilot from her predicament.

Therefore, the Garmisch Partenkirchen mountain rescue service was alerted.
The rescue helicopter Christoph Murnau shook five helpers who freed the broken pilot.
The woman was able to walk down the valley with her companion.
To avoid false alarms, the paraglider has been removed.
