The number of patients in hospitals continues to increase after China eased its quarantine policy.
However, Chinese authorities say that only two people have died in the past two weeks, and that victory in the fight against Corona is within sight.

Employees in protective clothing are busy moving around a crematorium in Beijing.
There is a long line of waiting cars at the entrance.
At other crematoriums found by reporters, police were deployed to control traffic from the outskirts.
It's early Monday morning, and the front of the crematorium is already very crowded.
About 10 public crematoriums in Beijing have already reached their capacity since last week.
[Crematorium staff outside Beijing: For the next 10 days, both the crematorium and waiting facilities are full.
It is also impossible to go to other areas.]
Due to the lack of transport vehicles and morgues, you can also see bodies temporarily stored in general trucks or inside hospitals.
The price of quarantine masks has risen six times due to shortages.
In front of a pharmacy, a notice was posted saying that masks, fever reducers, cold medicines, and thermometers were all out of stock.

Even so, authorities announced that the number of confirmed cases per day has fallen below 2,000 and that only two deaths have occurred in the past two weeks.
This is an unbelievable statistic considering that all crematoriums in Beijing, which can handle up to 4,000 cremations per day, are operating 24 hours a day.
[Funeral industry official: The deceased are basically related to Corona 19 and are mainly people aged 780.]
However, the quarantine authorities are optimistic that the final victory is right in front of their eyes, and President Xi Jinping also said that the dawn is just around the corner.
In particular, it is also adhering to the position that the drastic easing of quarantine measures was not because of protests, but because the corona fatality rate was lowered.
In this situation, if the authorities admit the rapid increase in deaths, criticism of the policy failure will inevitably grow, raising suspicions that they are hiding the actual number of deaths.
